Welcome to VidhyaIQ! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VidhyaIQ mobile application and website at vidhyaiq.com (collectively, the "Service") operated by VidhyaIQ ("we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, downloading, or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use VidhyaIQ.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use VidhyaIQ. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• The information you provide is accurate and complete

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

3. Use of Service

VidhyaIQ provides hybrid exam preparation tools combining AI-powered features (doubt solving, study notes, mock tests, personalized roadmaps) with verified live teacher sessions, mock interviews, and study groups for JEE, NEET, SSC, Banking, UPSC, and other competitive exams.

3.1 Permitted Use

You may use VidhyaIQ for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may:

• Access study materials for your selected exams
• Ask doubts and receive AI or teacher responses
• Take mock tests and track your progress
• Join study groups and participate in discussions
• Download notes for offline study

3.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Share, sell, or redistribute VidhyaIQ content without our written permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service
• Upload malicious software, viruses, or harmful code
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users, teachers, or staff
• Post obscene, offensive, hateful, or defamatory content
• Cheat in mock tests or share answers to live exam questions
• Use the AI tools to generate harmful, misleading, or non-educational content
• Attempt to bypass any security or authentication measures
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

VidhyaIQ offers free and paid subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Limited access to AI doubt solving, basic notes, and select features
• Premium Plans: Unlimited AI tutoring, all study materials, mock tests, live sessions, and advanced features

Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and may change at any time. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method. All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the app's Profile → Subscription section.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy. Please review it carefully before making a purchase.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on VidhyaIQ — including study notes, MCQs, mock tests, video lessons, AI-generated content, logos, designs, and software — is the property of VidhyaIQ or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal study only. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices from any content
• Use VidhyaIQ branding without our written permission

7. User-Generated Content

When you upload content (doubts, images, messages, study notes) to VidhyaIQ, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, and process that content for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and confirm that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

VidhyaIQ uses advanced artificial intelligence to generate doubt solutions, study notes, and explanations. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information.

You should:

• Verify important information with official sources or textbooks
• Not rely solely on AI responses for high-stakes decisions
• Report any incorrect content to our support team

VidhyaIQ is not responsible for any consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

9. Third-Party Services

VidhyaIQ integrates with trusted third-party service providers for cloud infrastructure, real-time communication, push notifications, and AI processing. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

VidhyaIQ is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• That the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• That the content will be accurate, complete, or up-to-date
• That using VidhyaIQ will guarantee any specific exam results
• That the Service will meet your specific requirements

Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidhyaIQ and its affiliates, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or INR 1000, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VidhyaIQ, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Content you upload or share
• Your violation of any third-party rights or applicable laws

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ends immediately
• We may delete your account data after the period specified in our Privacy Policy
• You remain liable for any outstanding payments

You may also terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the app's Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of VidhyaIQ shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via email, app notification, or by posting on our website. The "Last updated" date will reflect the latest version. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
