At VidhyaIQ, we want every student to have a great learning experience. This Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions under which refunds are processed for our subscription plans and in-app purchases.

By purchasing a subscription on VidhyaIQ, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy. Please read it carefully before making any payment.

1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 7-day refund window from the date of purchase for all premium subscription plans. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you can request a full refund within 7 days of payment, provided that:

• The refund request is made within 7 calendar days from the original purchase date
• You have not extensively used premium features (e.g., consumed more than 30% of allotted AI doubt credits, attended live teacher sessions, downloaded large amounts of content)
• You provide a valid reason for the refund request
• Your account is in good standing (no Terms of Service violations)

2. Non-Refundable Items

The following items and situations are not eligible for a refund:

• Subscriptions where the 7-day window has expired
• Renewals of existing subscriptions (you will be reminded before renewal)
• One-time in-app purchases such as mock test packs, AI credits top-ups, or single-use content unlocks that have already been consumed
• Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
• Refund requests after you have downloaded a significant amount of premium content
• Refunds requested after exam results have been published, where the subscription was used for that exam preparation
• Promotional, discounted, or free trial purchases (unless required by law)
• Subscriptions purchased through third-party app stores (Google Play, App Store) — these refunds must be requested directly from the app store

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

• Step 1: Email us at vidhyaiq.app@gmail.com from the email address registered with your VidhyaIQ account
• Step 2: Use the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Mobile Number]"
• Step 3: Include the following details in your email:
  • Your full name
  • Registered mobile number and email
  • Date of purchase
  • Subscription plan name and amount paid
  • Payment transaction ID or order number
  • Reason for the refund request
• Step 4: Our support team will review your request within 2-3 business days

4. Refund Processing Time

Once your refund request is approved:

• Approval notification: You will receive an email confirmation within 2-3 business days
• Refund initiation: The refund will be initiated within 5 business days of approval
• Credit to your account: Refunds are typically credited back to the original payment method within 7-14 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider

Please note that processing times may vary for international payments, UPI, credit card, and net banking transactions.

5. Refund Method

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used during purchase. We do not provide refunds in cash, alternative accounts, or through different payment channels. Specifically:

• UPI/Bank transfer: Refunded to the same UPI ID or bank account
• Credit/Debit card: Refunded to the same card
• Wallet payments: Refunded to the same wallet
• Google Play Store: Must be requested through Google Play; we cannot process these directly

6. Partial Refunds

In certain cases, we may offer partial refunds at our discretion, such as:

• Service was unavailable for an extended period due to technical issues on our end
• You purchased a higher plan but used only basic features
• Significant feature changes that affect the value of your subscription

The amount and eligibility for partial refunds will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

7. Cancellation of Subscription

Canceling your subscription is different from requesting a refund:

• Cancellation: Stops future renewals; you continue to enjoy premium benefits until the current billing cycle ends. No refund is issued for the unused portion.
• Refund: Returns money for an already-paid subscription, subject to the conditions in this policy.

You can cancel your subscription anytime from the app's Profile → Subscription → Cancel Subscription section.

8. Disputes and Chargebacks

If you have any concerns about a charge, please contact our support team first before initiating a chargeback through your bank or payment provider. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

• Permanent suspension of your VidhyaIQ account
• Loss of access to all purchased content and study materials
• Additional fees imposed by payment processors

We are committed to resolving disputes amicably and promptly.

9. Free Trial

If we offer a free trial period, you can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged. Once the trial ends and the subscription begins, the standard refund policy applies.

10. Promotional Offers

Subscriptions purchased under promotional offers, discount codes, or special discounts may have different refund terms, which will be clearly stated at the time of purchase. In general, promotional purchases are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

11. Refunds Required by Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in India. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under such laws, please contact us with relevant details.

12. Changes to Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. The "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent changes. Your continued use of VidhyaIQ after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
